Large Family Business of The Year 2022
We are overjoyed to announce that Knitwire Limited has been named as the Large Family Business of The Year for 2022.All of us at Knitwire pride ourselves on our involvement within the local community, offering job opportunities, apprenticeships, training, sponsoring local sports teams, speaking in local schools and helping out local charities.
To be presented with an award within our local community fills us with pride, and proves that our hardwork does not go unnoticed. This hard work is derived from our company founders, Audrey Forber, who worked 7 days a week for 7 years without pay, and Eric Forber, who had extensive knowledge from his managerial exprience within the wire trade of Warrington.
Continuing their hard work, Stephen Forber now manages the business with compassion, understanding and family values, with his sons following in his footsteps.
Stephen commented on our win, stating that “This award recognises that leading our business compassionately, with family values, has continued to be the best strategy for our organisation and the community.”
A night to celebrate
Alongside our win, we were also nominated as finalists for the Manufacturer of The Year award, which we were extremely pleased to be nominated for. We hope that everyone in attendance had a great night, and wish everyone the best of luck with their business futures.
